There is a Vietnamese saying “First learn manner, next acquire knowledge”. At this school in India, the children learn about ethics, humanity and meditation before they learn to read. For many children, they are the first in their families to go to school to learn literacy and disciplines and, therefore, the nuns have to be very patient, caring and compassionate in order to be successful in their teaching.
