AFRICA: Peanut Cultivation Project Feeds Starving Children in South Sudan: 2024, 2025, 2026

Partnering with Sister Rosemary Nyirumbe of Uganda, UAN raised the funds needed to employ over 25 field workers to plant and harvest 7 acres of peanut crops, providing enough peanut butter to relieve the hunger of over 450 children for 6 months!

Summer 2026: Your support is needed! As we prepare to replant and expand to a full 10 acres this fall, irrigation development is desperately needed to ensure a sustainable yield. Your donation, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated and 100% goes directly to where it's most needed to support hunger relief. Thank you.

Just before summer break of 2017,  UAN introduced its Angels in Training program to elementary students at Linh Son Temple in Austin, Texas. After hearing the purpose of the program and how it would help young students in a remote, poverty-stricken area of Vietnam, the students left with Angel Banks for collecting funds over the summer. The children raised over $1,000, which was used to purchase a television for a Kon Tum school, as well as shoes and other necessities for its students.
